ROCK ‘N’ PALOOZA

Explore the music of great rock bands such as Queen, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Davis Bowie and more!  Explore acting through improvisation and scene work!  Get messy and create outside the box through drawing and painting!  Choose to enjoy your summer break by diving into a world of fun with an intensive that explores all of the arts!  While available to a wide age range of students, activities will be tailored to each individual student’s abilities. 

With a diverse curriculum that changes from week to week, students can enjoy a unique experience every time they join us.

SCHEDULE

Camps run Monday - Friday. Full day and half day options are available each week. All camps are held at the McGuigan Arts Academy studio located in Countryside Village.

PRICING

$250 Full Day | 9am - 4pm, daily
$150 Half Day | 9am - 12pm OR 1pm - 4pm, daily
$75 After Care | 4pm - 5:30pm (optional add-on)

REFUND POLICY

If you request a cancelation more than 30 days prior to the start of camp you will have the choice between a full class credit towards a future class, camp or lesson within the same calendar year or a partial refund of $200 for a full day camp and $125 for a half day camp. After Care will be fully refunded. If canceled within 30 days of the first day of camp no refunds will be available. You will receive full class credit towards a future class, camp or lesson within the same calendar year.

HAPPY FEET

Dive into artistry and be introduced to the fundamentals of theatre by using your body, voice and imagination!  Celebrate being you by building confidence, increasing concentration, and improving cooperation!  This class will introduce stage and acting terminology; characterization and scene work both scripted and improvised; and the fundamentals of music and design by interacting with instruments, costumes, lights and other tactile objects used in creating theatre.  A final presentation will be performed for friends and family on the last day of class.

Camps run Saturdays in June and July from 9am - 12pm. All camps are held at the McGuigan Arts Academy studio located in Countryside Village.

STUDIO CAMP COMPANY CLASS

This tuition free, two-week intensive production class will rehearse, design, tech and perform a theatrical adaptation of THE OUTSIDERS, based on the classic 1983 film and 1967 novel.  

While the rich kid Socs appear to have everything, the only thing a Greaser has is his friends.  Seen through the eyes of young Ponyboy, a Greaser on the wrong side of life, THE OUTSIDERS is a coming-of-age story about young people who are not yet hopeless about finding themselves and each other in the midst of struggle.

THE OUTSIDERS is a public performance presented by Rave On Productions as part of the 2024 Omaha Series. Tickets will be available for purchase online at theomahaseries.com in April.
